While at NYU, I did research work on the cognitive effects of fear and disgust using a distance perception paradigm. Now I am interested in looking at the neural correlates of these emotions and specifying my research interests to a clinical population: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

I am currently pursuing graduate study in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. I have a Master's degree in Psychology from The New School for Social Research, where I also worked in Dr. Marcel Kinsbourne's cognitive neuroscience lab studying entrainment in relationships and olfaction & empathy. On a philosophical level, I am interested in studying the neurological bases of consciousness, creativity, and imagination. Clinically, I am especially interested to study and help those with schizophrenia spectrum disorders, PTSD, and at-risk young adults.
